The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the location including, but not limited to team members, janitorial, inventory needs, hiring for staff, etc.

Location: FFC South Loop 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Address member needs during shift including but not limited to account management, lost and found, lock out and general facility inquiries
  • Responsible for hiring, scheduling and coverage of Housekeeping teams
  • Assist billing team as directed by Billing Manager
  • Additional duties as assigned by General Manager
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales and net membership goals
  • Open and Close club to Photo Ready standards as scheduled by the General Manager
  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis, present membership benefits that match the prospects needs/wants and invite prospects to become members of the club
  • Build relationships and meet the needs of prospective members through engagement such as identifying needs, club tours, pipeline management and relationship marketing strategies
  • Maintain proper use of the CRM (GymSales) database, contracts and forms. Effectively track the lead source and missed sales to understand objections and establish a course of contact
  • Network with members and guests to maximize referrals. Consistently promote and present new member and existing member referral promotions
  • Process all membership contracts and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner including all proper WellFit documentation
  • Process and maintain member documents and update portal including but not limited to: past tour information, guest passes, canceled memberships, membership freezes, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • High-level verbal and written communication ability
  • Able to follow the sales process and comfortable “Asking for the Sale”
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in sales or fitness industry preferred
  • Ability to work during “Closeout” (last 3 days of every month)
  • Comfortable interacting with prospective club members on the phone and in-person
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Docs and email
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs and lift a minimum of 10 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of standing/sitting during shift
  • Ability to bend at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking etc., as job may require
  • Noise level, at times, require normal hearing protection in the form of ear plugs
  • Ability to climb ladders, this position may need to work at heights up to 30 feet 
  • This position will require use of ladders and a hydraulic lift
  • There will be exposure with use to chemicals and cleaning solutions
